Michael Jackson’s nephew Jaafar Jackson to play him in biopic

The "King of Pop" will be portrayed by Michael Jackson's nephew Jaafar Jackson in the upcoming biopic "Michael."

In a Monday Instagram post, Jackson said, "I'm humbled and privileged to bring my Uncle Michael's tale to life. I'll see you soon, to all of the admirers around the world.

The younger Jackson, a singer and songwriter, has claimed that his father, Jermaine, a former member of the Jackson 5, found and supported his musical side.

The 26-year-startling old's similarities to the well-known musician have drawn praise from some fans.

He is "endlessly gifted," according to The Jackson 5's official Instagram account, and they are "extremely happy for the world to witness what we've seen for many years!"

Jackson's participation in what he dubbed "the motion picture event that follows the journey of the man who became the King of Pop" was announced by director Antoine Fuqua, who expressed his pride in doing so.
